Modern yet timeless. Extravagant in its style and use of clean geometric forms. The Overlay collection arose from a synthesis of various materials on mood boards during a creative process that involved seeking ideas and associations between art and design, overlaying different textures, and playing with volumes.
The blown transparent glass tubes instil the Overlay Chandelier L Double with a distinctive character, as does the unique concrete fixture embedded with shards of upcycled glass from Janštejn Glassworks.
The piece is cast in different rectangular volumes specifically for each type of light, accommodating both simple and multiple assemblies for a remarkable degree of versatility. The centerline matte light tube seemingly levitates inside a delicate sleeve of either frosted or clear glass cradled in the concrete.
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.
For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.
A standard length of cable is included in the price of Overlay Chandelier L Double; with an overall height of 47.5cm – 227.5cm.
An extra cable length up to 500cm is optional during the ordering process. Lengths over 500cm must be consulted and priced individually by BROKIS at EDC.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

Register your lighting for our 2 year warranty. You can find the warranty code of your light on the outside of the packaging or in the product insert. You will receive one guarantee code per light. Please note our Warranty Terms.
