Penetrating forms

The Mona collection is based on the concept of penetrating forms. The light source boldly traverses the ample volume of smooth handblown glass to reveal the thrilling tension inherent in the design.

Brokis Mona pendants in smoke brown glass, each with a luminous white LED tube, hang elegantly at varied heights.
A round black table and chair sit beneath a Brokis Mona XL Pendant casting warm luxe light; moody black backdrop.
A close-up of a Brokis Mona ceiling canopy with a matt black base and leather, accenting the luxurious, minimal décor.
Brokis Mona Pendants with handblown glossy black shades hang at varying heights against a moody charcoal backdrop.
Brokis Mona pendants with handblown grey glass domes suspended by tan leather straps in graduated sizes.

The essence of Mona XL Pendant lies in its unconventional construction and refined combination of materials. It also boasts dimmable tubular LED light sources, each with a different colour temperature.

The entire Mona collection has been technologically improved with innovative connectors and the replacement of the wood components with metal ones. These improvements make it easier to change out the light source and clean the lights.

FAQ

BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

Brokis art director Lucie Koldova.

BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.

More about Lucie Koldova

Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

Install instructions for BROKIS lighting can be found in our download centre.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.

For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.

The lights from the Mona collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.

More about Click&Safe

The Mona Medium leather strap is not adjustable. When ordering Mona Medium Pendent, the exact drop-length of the light (H light) needs to be specified. Without this information, the production process cannot start.
