The Shadows collection is a take on the famed, timeless lights found in French ateliers, and its typology pays tribute to that legacy. The combination of handblown glass, handcrafted wood, and classic shaping has given rise to a light of ageless elegance.
The collection is characterized by a handblown glass shade set upon on a handcrafted wooden body. The clean contours and finish are accentuated by the concealed light source.
The Shadows Set Rectangular Canopy Small is special not only for its wide spectrum of glass colour options, surface finishes, and types of wood. But also because the lights can be combined according to project requirements. They are intended for interiors and, thanks to multiple combination possibilities, are well suited to a broad range of installations.
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

The lights from the Shadows collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.
A standard length of cable is included in the price of Shadows Set Rectangular Canopy Small; with an overall height of 43.5cm – 225.3cm.
An extra cable length up to 500cm is optional during the ordering process. Lengths over 500cm must be consulted and priced individually by BROKIS at EDC.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.
