Sfera Portable is based on the idea of a sphere of light set within a poured concrete base with the same subtle multiangular detail used throughout the Sfera collection. The delicate sphere of handblown glass resides beneath a stainless-steel hoop, which serves as a handle for moving the light from one place to another.
The concrete base houses not only the charging module but also a sensitive touch dimmer with which to adjust the brightness. Sfera Portable Large is fitted with an LED light source with diffusor and meets the safety and technological standards of the IP44 rating for outdoor use.
The sphere as a timeless and perfect shape whose allure never ceases to capture the imagination. Handblown glass anchored in a raw, almost brutalist concrete base is an excellent match for modern architecture, but it can also be used to great effect when set in contrast with historical architecture. Sfera Portable is a stylish atmospheric lighting object designed for both outdoor and indoor use. Thanks to its simple construction, the light can be easily picked up and moved to change the ambience of any space.
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

Sfera Portable offers 5 hours of light at full brightness. The light comes with its own USB charging cable.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

Designers and architects can loan glass and finish samples via the sample request form.

Register your lighting for our 2 year warranty. You can find the warranty code of your light on the outside of the packaging or in the product insert. You will receive one guarantee code per light. Please note our Warranty Terms.
