From the very inception of the BROKIS brand, its defining mark has been superior quality in glass artisanry and manufacturing. We are very pleased that our efforts to preserve the core values of the glassmaking tradition have now been affirmed by UNESCO.

Throughout the Czech Republic and Europe, thousands of glassblowers, grinders, engravers, painters, jewellers, and designers ply their craft at hundreds of glass factories, workshops, and studios. Among them are the highly skilled employees of Janštejn Glassworks.

For several centuries, Bohemian glassmaking has been synonymous with unsurpassed quality and beauty. Today, it is an inseparable part of the cultural legacy of the Czech nation, and we are thrilled that it has been recognized on a global level by UNESCO as a significant manifestation of humanity’s intangible heritage.
