Designed by Japanese designer Fumie Shibata, this collection draws inspiration from the vertical contours rising in stands of bamboo, conceived to evoke unique atmospheric ambience through hand-sculpted Czech glass that authentically replicates bamboo stalks complete with characteristic nodal rings.
The essence of Brokis Bamboo Forest lies in botanical authenticity rendered through masterful glassmaking. Where material thickens at each nodal ring, subtle shadows create soft accents that animate luminaires with organic texture and depth. Varying positions of nodes on different stalk sizes ensure immediate recognition of natural origins while enabling diverse compositional possibilities.
Multiple luminaires transform interiors into sanctuaries replete with the soothing tranquility of natural bamboo forests. The innovative Click&Safe connector enhances overall variability by simplifying installation of large sets while streamlining maintenance and cleaning procedures. An intuitive online configurator enables architects and designers to visualize bespoke Brokis Bamboo Forest compositions before specification.
Available in smoke brown, opaline, light smoke grey, and olive green transparent Czech glass paired with black anodized finishes. The range includes S, M Up, M Down, L Up, L Down, and XL Double pendant configurations, offering both original multi-light combinations and single-point accent lighting for residential and hospitality interiors.
Brokis Bamboo Forest is a Soft Accent
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
Fumie Shibata works in a variety of different fields. From everyday electronics and specialized healthcare technology to unique capsule hotels, Fumie effectively adapts her knowledge of and capability for design.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.
For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.
The lights from the Bamboo Forest collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.
TRIMLESS eliminates the need for a conventional ceiling canopy and simplifies installation in drywall ceilings. It gives ceiling installations a clean, minimalistic appearance and provides a new degree of variability in creating original lighting compositions.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.
