Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, this large-format collection celebrates gentle poetry, simplicity, purity, and balanced proportions through the sophisticated interplay of dual glass spheres.
Light emitted from the smaller matte glass core flows freely through the air within the symbolic protective shell of the outer glossy globe, creating a mesmerizing sense of levitation. Recent technological upgrades introduce new LED modules that significantly increase light output while guaranteeing reliability and longevity. Improved metal components simplify handling and enhance cooling efficiency, while the inosculation of luminous bodies creates compelling spatial interaction.
The Big One offers exceptional atmospheric control through multiple dimming options and the innovative Tunable White function, which allows users to adjust color temperature for precise mood setting. Available in an evocative palette of Czech glass finishes – transparent, smoke grey, light smoke brown, red, and light pink outer spheres paired with triplex opal or smoke brown matte inner cores – across Large and Small pendant configurations for residential and hospitality interiors seeking sculptural presence with technological sophistication.
Brokis Big One in Balanced Proportions
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.
For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.
Designers and architects can loan glass and finish samples via the sample request form.
