That singular moment when nature’s most fundamental structures – the plant cell, the seed – reveal their elegant complexity inspires Brokis Capsula. Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, this sophisticated collection captures organic beauty through layered Czech glass forms that create exhilarating visual depth.

The nucleus of each Capsula piece is a tubular triplex-glass LED light source that transects both the inner shade and translucent external shell, forming a notional axis reminiscent of cellular structure. The layering and overlapping of these distinct glass elements gives rise to dramatic optical effects that shift with perspective and light intensity. End caps fasten the components together while serving as anchor points for the innovative dual suspension straps, which conceal power cables and allow variation in final positioning.

Capsula features special integrated Click&Safe connectors developed by BROKIS to facilitate both installation and cleaning. Beginning in 2025, the collection introduces a new BROKISGLASS option, bringing refreshed visual possibilities that further underline the overall singularity of these lights. Available in an extraordinary spectrum of colours and finishes- from vibrant violets, reds, and olive greens to subtle opaline and smoke grey – across Single Pendant, Triangle Pendant, and Set configurations for contemporary residential and commercial interiors.

BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.

Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.

For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.

The lights from the Capsula collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.

Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.

As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

If you have any questions then it is recommended to contact us before you place an order.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.
