• Brokis Lightline

Brokis Lightline by Lucie Koldová celebrates Czech glass as pure artistic medium through lines of light. Hand-sandblasted surfaces disperse LED illumination uniformly, creating luminous linear profiles. Triplex-opal glass shrouds conceal embedded light sources, while special nano coating prevents dust accumulation on sculptural forms that elevate table lighting into refined art objects.

That singular moment when light becomes line – when glass transforms from solid form into luminous geometry – inspires Brokis Lightline. Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, this sophisticated collection celebrates Czech glass as an artistic medium through the exploration of varying material characteristics and forms that create compelling lines of light.

The essence of Lightline lies in its technical refinement. Light uniformly disperses across hand-sandblasted surfaces, creating the arresting impression of a glowing linear edge when viewed in profile. LED light sources embed within bases beneath metal and triplex-opal glass shrouds that conceal the mechanics while directing illumination upward through the sculptural glass forms. The upper surfaces, meticulously sandblasted by hand, receive special nano coating treatment to prevent the accumulation of dust and fingerprints – ensuring enduring visual clarity.

Each Lightline piece balances artistic expression with practical innovation, transforming functional table lighting into contemplative design objects. Available in an expressive spectrum of Czech glass colours – from transparent and smoke grey to amber, violet, red, light blue, orange, and menthol – across S, M, L, and L-H table configurations for contemporary residential and commercial interiors seeking sculptural lighting with refined minimalist character.
