That singular moment when natural stone becomes illuminated sculpture, when crystalline structures reveal hidden beauty through light — this is where Brokis Macaron exists. Designed by Lucie Koldová, each Brokis Macaron luminaire transforms geological formations into glowing centerpieces, where Bohemian glass artistry meets the raw beauty of onyx to create extraordinary ambient lighting.
Every Brokis Macaron emerges from master glassblowers who enclose stone between opposing domes of delicate hand-blown glass. The light source casts its glow upward from the onyx base, energizing meandering chalcedony veins within the center stone plate. This creates a mesmerizing effect—stone becomes a moonscape suspended in its own transparent cosmos, each natural imperfection celebrated as unique character.
Brokis Macaron collections celebrate the purity of natural materials and traditional Czech craftsmanship. Available in three sizes – the largest doubling as an elegant floor light – each luminaire features white or honey onyx combined with various glass colors. An alternate version pairs BROKISGLASS center plates with wooden bases. Named for its similarity to French meringue confections, Brokis Macaron transforms tables and floors through the subtle interplay of illuminated geological beauty and artisanal glass technique.
Brokis Macaron in it's Own Cosmos
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.
Designers and architects can loan glass and finish samples via the sample request form.

Precision in craft demands precision in delivery. Every Brokis Macaron ordered through EDC ships within ten weeks of order confirmation. Should we exceed this commitment, we refund 5% of your net order value for each week of delay, to a 20% maximum. Not a promise of speed. A promise of certainty.
