Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, this sophisticated collection explores the concept of penetrating forms through bold architectural gestures rendered in Czech hand-blown glass.
The essence of Mona lies in its unconventional construction: dimmable tubular LED light sources boldly traverse the ample volume of smooth glass, creating thrilling visual tension that reveals the inherent drama of the design. Each piece features different colour temperature options, allowing precise atmospheric control. The refined combination of materials – luminous Czech glass paired with luxurious leather suspension straps – elevates Mona beyond mere illumination into sculptural statement.
Recent technological improvements enhance both function and longevity. Innovative Click&Safe connectors facilitate installation and cleaning, while the strategic replacement of wood components with metal ones makes changing light sources effortless. Available in an elegant spectrum of glass finishes – from transparent and smoke grey to opaline, black, and violet – complemented by leather straps in black, natural grey, and dark brown. The comprehensive collection spans XL and Large pendants, Medium and Large floor lamps, wall lights, and table configurations for discerning residential and commercial interiors.
Brokis Mona Penetrates Forms
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.
For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.
The lights from the Mona collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.

Precision in craft demands precision in delivery. Every Brokis Mona ordered through EDC ships within ten weeks of order confirmation. Should we exceed this commitment, we refund 5% of your net order value for each week of delay, to a 20% maximum. Not a promise of speed. A promise of certainty.
