Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, this award-winning collection emerged from a creative process exploring associations between art and design, overlaying different textures, and playing with volumes through mood board synthesis that celebrates sustainable material innovation.

The essence of Brokis Overlay lies in distinctive material fusion. Unique concrete fixtures embedded with shards of upcycled glass from Janštejn Glassworks provide sustainable architectural beauty while supporting circular economy principles. Each fixture is cast in different rectangular volumes specifically tailored for individual luminaire types, accommodating both simple installations and multiple assemblies for remarkable versatility in spatial compositions.

A centerline matte light tube creates the illusion of levitation within delicate sleeves of either frosted or clear hand-blown Czech glass, cradled securely in concrete bases. This visual poetry transforms functional lighting into sculptural art. The typology comprises horizontal pendant chandeliers, table lights, and wall lights that open new possibilities in lighting design.

Available in transparent, smoke grey, amber, and olive green Czech glass in glossy or acid-etched finishes. Concrete bases offered in white, natural, or anthracite with embedded glass fragments.
