Inspired by the classic typology of the table lamp – humanity’s timeless companion during evening hours – Brokis Spectra distills this archetype to its purest form. Designed by Brokis art director Lucie Koldová, the collection celebrates simplicity while showcasing exceptional Czech glassmaking technique and innovative lighting engineering.
The defining feature is the mantle itself: a single, seamless piece of hand-blown glass that serves simultaneously as shade and base. Creating this unified form requires specialized glassblowing methods that only master craftsmen can execute. The result evokes remarkable levity and loftiness despite the material’s inherent weight, achieving visual poetry through restraint.
Within the archetypal silhouette sits an opening housing a flat double-sided LED source in an aluminum fixture. Light casts gently in both directions – upward toward the ceiling and downward into the glass base – creating intimate atmospheric effects that transform surrounding spaces. An integrated dimmer allows users to modulate intensity and direction, choosing upward-only, bidirectional, or downward-only illumination.
Available in standard and Mini versions across transparent, smoke grey, smoke brown, opaline, and olive green glass with silver or black anodized finishes. Brokis Spectra proves beauty lies in simplicity – minimal form meeting maximal impact.

BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

The dimmer allows adjustment of the brightness of the LED module and the direction of the light; up only; up-and-down; down
only.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

Designers and architects can loan glass and finish samples via the sample request form.
