Designed by Italian designer Federico Peri, this award-winning collection elicits memories of popular childhood toys through distinctive spinning-top aesthetics, conceived to reveal fascinating playscapes of shapes and shadows within contemporary interiors.
The essence of Brokis Trottola lies in enchanting luminance that passes through opal diffusers and hand-blown opaline Czech glass, creating playful contrasts between light and shadow. LED sources visible only from above are housed in pressed aluminium bases finished in attractive and durable black anodize, while elegant dimmers enable intuitive brightness adjustment with simple turns.
Semi-transparent glass forms come to life with gentle glows that animate interiors with nostalgic charm. The innovative Click&Safe connector featured in table variants facilitates effortless disconnection for repositioning throughout spaces while streamlining disassembly for maintenance procedures. As if by magic, these luminous objects reveal their full character when illuminated.
Available in opaline or pearl grey opaline hand-blown Czech glass paired with silver anodized or black anodized pressed aluminium finishes. Brokis Trottola offers Small and Large configurations in both pendant suspensions and portable table versions, delivering versatile ambient lighting solutions for residential and hospitality environments.
Brokis Trottola Ellicits Memory
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
Federico Peri was born in Italy. Where he began producing a collection that embraces the spirit of his design philosophy – the fusion of historical and contemporary – by juxtaposing refined materials with fundamental design.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.

The lights from the Trottola collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning.
Delivery is £99 ex.VAT from the Czech Republic to the UK, and free delivery on a total goods value of £2,350 ex.VAT. International deliveries will need to be quoted before ordering – with customs duties handled by BROKIS.
As each BROKIS light is custom made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns. However, we provide a 5-day grace period from the date of purchase to amend or cancel your order before it enters production.

BROKIS’s commitment to sustainable, precision manufacturing is independently verified through EPD and LCA certification. Quality control checks have lead to a failure rate of just 0.9%, reflecting the exceptional quality built into every light.
Designers and architects can loan glass and finish samples via the sample request form.
