A clean cut
The prevailing characteristic of the Sfera project light is a clean cut across the top that serves as a platform for an elegant decagonal fixture. The timeless object casts a gentle light through handblown matte opal glass, which is attached to a metal plate featuring a subtle multiangular detail.
Sfera 200 offers a considerable degree of variability in interior installations, while a practical hexagonal connector makes it easy to install, maintain, and clean large sets of lights as well as rearrange them without having to alter the interior. The universal beauty and simplicity of the Sfera collection mean it can be used in any space and in any number, from a single light as an elegant accent to large bespoke compositions containing various sizes and shapes.
BROKIS’s lead-time is 10 weeks, from ordering to leaving the factory. Each piece of handblown glass lighting passes through the hands of more than 30 highly skilled craftsmen, whose expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech product and furniture designer. Her creations, objects of desire, include glass sculptures, glass lighting, poetic gallery pieces, and limited series works. Breathtaking colours, unusual proportions, and vibrant formal contrasts move her work seemingly beyond the realm of the possible.
Slight differences in colouration are inherent to the production of handblown glass, yet they must remain within tolerance.
Install instructions for BROKIS lighting can be found in our download centre.
BROKIS lights are available with a variety of mounting options. Surface mounting works in all situations. This also applies to suspended lights up to a roof slope of 30°. For mounting flat, pure and recessed lighting, a suspended ceiling or cavity wall must be available for flush mounting.
For almost all BROKIS lights, a solution can be found with a sideways inlet if the electrical outlet is not in the right place.
The lights from the Sfera collection have a special integrated connector developed by BROKIS to facilitate installation and cleaning. Learn more here.
TRIMLESS eliminates the need for a conventional ceiling canopy and simplifies installation in drywall ceilings. It gives ceiling installations a clean, minimalistic appearance and provides a new degree of variability in creating original lighting compositions.
